Our commitment
Every child who learns with Minhal Academy has the right to be safe, respected, and free from harm. Private one-to-one lessons need a high level of trust, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Our teachers
- We check every teacher’s identity, qualifications, and references before they teach.
- Teachers who teach children complete a background check appropriate to the country they live in.
- All teachers agree to our code of conduct.
During lessons
- Lessons take place only on video-lesson links provided by the academy.
- Teachers do not contact children privately outside lessons, by phone, messaging apps, or social media. Messages about a child’s lessons go to the parent or guardian.
- We encourage a parent or guardian to be nearby during a child’s lessons, especially for younger children.
- We do not record lessons unless a parent or guardian has agreed in advance.
Raising a concern
If you are worried about a child’s safety or a teacher’s behaviour, please contact us straight away. Every concern is passed to our Safeguarding Lead, taken seriously, and handled in confidence. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
